What is a 10/50 vegetation clearing entitlement?

What the 10/50 rule allows

In designated areas, eligible residents can clear trees within 10 metres of a home, and underlying vegetation such as shrubs and undergrowth within 50 metres of a home, without seeking approval. The aim is to reduce the fuel that carries fire toward the house.
