We grind stumps well below ground level so the area is clear and ready to reuse. Our machines handle everything from small garden stumps to large gum stumps on acreage, and we can reach tight backyards through standard gates.
Grinding is faster, tidier and less disruptive than digging a stump out, with no need to excavate around services or disturb the surrounding garden. We clean up the grindings and leave the area level.

Usually 200 to 300mm below the surface, which is enough for turf or planting. We can go deeper if you are planning to build or pave over the area, just let us know.
Grinding the stump and main surface roots stops regrowth from the stump itself. Some species send up suckers from remaining roots, and we can advise on managing that if needed.
Yes. Our equipment fits through standard gates and tight side accesses, so most backyard stumps are no problem.
